James Wilson (b. UK) is an artist known for his continuous one-line drawings of faces and florals. Working primarily in ink on fine papers, each piece is created in a single breath - signed, embossed, and logged as a unique original.
Alongside his large-format one-line works, James creates smaller ink studies of palms, cacti, and botanicals, these are often smaller pieces formed in quiet explorations of form, made in the same spirit of immediacy.
His work has been featured in: Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, Habitat, Zara, vouge, spaces, saatchi art, auger gallery, ARTWRK DEPT and on international fashion week stages.
Alongside originals, Wilson has collaborated with design and lifestyle brands including Artifact Lighting, Fereday Studio, slo studio, and TITS bringing his distinctive linear language to objects, interiors, and clothing.
Based on the South Coast of England, Wilson balances studio practice with workshops and limited collaborations. 2025 marks his relaunch with a renewed focus on originals reclaiming the singular style.
