James Wilson is an artist/designer who has a particular focus on organic patterns, natural forms and traditional techniques. Inspired by this, his works consist of expressive line through the natural qualities of ink, gouache, and charcoal.

Stressing the importance of collaboration, James has designed products for various brands and has had his work featured in Vanity Fair, Habitat, Zara, Harper's Bazaar, as well as both London and Paris Fashion Week.

Known for his dynamic abstract compositions, Wilson's canvas is a playground. James displays his mastery of continuous line work recently on Artifact Lighting co's handcrafted Rocco pendants. Using his preferred medium of black Indian ink and paint pens.
